The LS226 is designed to handle a wide range of coating measurement scenarios. It accurately measures non-magnetic coatings such as paint, varnish, enamel, galvanizing, and chrome plating on ferromagnetic metal substrates like steel. At the same time, it can also precisely detect non-conductive coatings such as paint, anodized layers, and ceramics on non-magnetic metal substrates including aluminum, copper, brass, and zinc. Equipped with a dual-purpose probe for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, the LS226 automatically identifies the substrate type—eliminating the need for manual switching and significantly improving testing efficiency.
