The LS116 has the highest accuracy among Linshang light transmittance meters series. This product has undergone a major upgrade in March 2019. What is the difference between the new light transmittance meter and the old one?

1.Difference in appearance design

The new LS116 high-precision light transmittance meter adopts a new shell design and adds up and down buttons to combine the“HOLD”button and the“POWER”button into one button. Querying the historical data saved by the instrument is more convenient and quicker than the older version of the instrument.

2.Improved resolution

The accuracy of new LS116 high-precision light transmittance meter can be 0.001% when the tested transmittance is within 10% and the accuracy of light transmittance values above 10% is 0.01%.The accuracy of the old version of the light transmittance meter is 0.1%.

3.Suitable for measuring thicker materials

The new LS116 high-precision light transmittance meter can measure thicker materials. If the thickness exceeds the width of the fixed base, you can use the probe and receiver. As long as the instrument can pass self-calibration,there is no problem in measuring 100mm thick materials. This instrument has the highest accuracy in the market. The accuracy of the instrument is better than ± 1% (measures colorless and uniform light transmission materials).

4.Suitable for measuring high transmittance materials

The new LS116 high-precision light transmittance meter has a visible light transmittance measurement range of 0.001% -99.8%,which can measure a variety of high-transmittance materials. The old version of the light transmittance meter can not obtain specific values when measuring high-transmittance materials,it will be directly displayed as 100%.
