Types of Auto Paint Meter
The auto paint meter is an economical and practical portable measuring instrument. It can measure coating thickness quickly without damage and precision. It can be used in the laboratory as well as in the engineering field. It is widely used in manufacturing, metal processing industry, chemical industry, commodity inspection and other testing fields.
There are two types of auto paint meters on the market: iron substrate (Fe) and non-ferrous substrate (NFe).
Fe-Iron based substrate
It uses magnetic induction principle to measure nonmagnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates such as steel, iron, etc., such as: paint, powder, plastic, rubber, synthetic materials, chromium, zinc, lead, aluminum, tin, cadmium, porcelain, bismuth, oxide layer, etc.
NFe-Non ferrous based substrate
It adopts eddy current principle to measure enthalpy, rubber, paint, plastic layer, etc. on copper, aluminum, zinc, tin and other substrates.
Linshang auto paint meter uses magnetic induction and eddy current principle. It can be used for both iron and aluminum and can automatically identifies and converts substrates.
Founded in August 2008, Shenzhen Linshang Technology Co., Ltd is a professional instrument manufacturer integrating R&D, production and sales. We committed to research and development of high-quality auto paint meter and probe accessories. Our principle is providing customers with quality services.
